The hotel has a great location, right across from the convention center and at the start of the Gaslamp district. The rooms offer a nice view of downtown, although they felt a bit lifeless compared to what I expected. The service was friendly and attentive, which made up for some of the room shortcomings. Dining was enjoyable at Mary Jane's, though it was on the pricier side. Overall, it's a decent choice but there's room for improvement.
